Royal Mahogany's rich color and grain pattern is most similar to that of Honduras Mahogany.
Color and Photosensitivity: Royal Mahogany is brown to reddish brown and is more uniform than many Brazilian exotic species. It will darken slightly with exposure to light.
Janka Hardness Rating: 1,220 lbs. (553 kgs.) By comparison, Northern Red Oak's value is 1,290 lbs. (585 kgs.)
